Our Show Season
Over the course of each academic year, we put on six Main Stage productions! Interested in singing? Dancing? Acting? Stage Management? Tech? There are many opportunities to get involved both on and off stage! Below is some information about our shows!
Opening Week Show
This is our first show of the fall semester! It's a variety show where everyone is encouraged to sing, act, dance, or perform any act on stage to start the new academic year!

Our Annual Cabaret for Charity
Our Cabaret for Charity is a joint production with our sister organization Chappell Players Theatre Group! This show is perfect for all singers and dancers! Each production has a theme that the musical numbers and storyline are aligned to.
All of the money made from this production goes straight to St. John's Bread and Life, which helps alleviate hunger in both Brooklyn and Queens!

Choose Your Own Adventure
Choose Your Own Adventure is a full-length play where the audience votes on various choices at key points throughout the story, which will affect the characters' dialogue and actions on stage, creating a unique outcome each night!

Evening(s) of One Act Plays
These short, ten-fifteen minute plays are fully written, directed, and put on by current APO members and Alumni! One Acts starts off the second semester and helps to bring in new, returning, and prospective members of APO!

Dance Concert
Dance Concert is our annual dance showcase! So many types are presented during this show (tap, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, and more!). It truly is an amazing sight! All the amazing dances are choreographed and performed by current APO members and alumni!

ShowMidean
This is our final production of the year! Showmidean is the spring equivalent to the Opening Week Show because we encourage all current members and alumni to perform anything they please, whether that be singing, dancing, acting, etc.! It is an amazing way to close out the year!
